You Just Can't Help But Smile
Ahhh...this little girl makes me laugh. One of her new favorite things to say is "I promise". I can't tell you how many times a day I hear this and I have no idea where she picked it up. She says it after everything and I don't think she even knows what it means. she even promises she won't get hurt when I tell her to stop jumping on the couch (yeah, I'd like that one in writing). She's so serious when she says it that I can't help but smile. Another one of my favorite "Ryannisms":
Me: Ryann, did you take my brush?
Ryann: No
Me: Ryann...I think you did.
Ryann: Oh, you saw me? (then runs to go get the brush)
She always asks me if I saw her do it first, then she'll confess. Whatever works for her I guess.

She is so funny! I love it!
I remember when I saw Tracy (around Ryann's age) playing across the street. I told her she was not supposed to cross the street by herself. She said, "Did you see?" Duh.
