I must be crazy...
So, a few years ago my sister Jessica and some of her friends participated in a mud run and it sounded like so much fun. When I heard that she was going to do it again along with my other sister Wendy and her husband Jake I knew I had to do it as well. They just had babies around 3 months ago so I don't have any excuses not to do it. I have never, let me repeat, NEVER attempted running or jogging before let alone a "basic training" 10k obstacle course so it's kinda crazy that I'm doing this. I'm going to start training and hopefully come Oct. I'll be in decent enough shape to cross the finish line before dark. (That's my goal and I'm sticking to it...the race should be over by 3 p.m.) Darren is a little doubtful that I'm actually going to do this, he doesn't want me to buy my plane ticket just yet - but I'm going to do it even if I need to crawl across the finish line after everyone else has gone home. This is big for me and I'm excited to do it with my sista's.

Wahoo! Em, I'm so pumped. When I read that you had signed up I wanted to cheer. I'm so stoked you're going to do this with us. What do you mean buy a plane ticket? Darren and the kids better be at the finish line cheering you on. I'm so pumped to do this. As I said before, I just went jogging for the 1st time in over a year and it felt so good. I know, I must be crazy too but my body has been craving this. Ok enough about me. Go Emily!!!!!!!!!
Em - I am so excited you are doing this! It will be so much fun, we could make it an annual race for the family. I can't wait to see both you and Wendy get in the mud. Did you hear about the fire hose they squirt you with first? - Oops... that is suppose to be a suprise.
That is awesome!!! I would love to go on some runs with you... if you ever need a partner. I know you will be able to do it... Darren will have to fly down and watch it for himself! That picture makes me a little nervous though.
