This is me...

7 random things about me:
- I love love love to read. I'll read almost everything (except romance novels, sorry Janan). my favorite authors are James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz just to name a few. Anything with suspense and the thrill of the chase is a book I can't put down. Darren rolls his eyes everytime he sees that I've picked up a new book - he knows not much else will get done until I'm done with the book. I have to limit the number of books that I read at a given time. I'm always looking for more authors , let me know if you have a favorite.
- I love to create. If I'm not reading then I'm working on a project. If I'm not working on a project then I'm reading. Scrapbooking, quilting, embroidery, jewelery or anything for my home are just a few of my top favorite things to work on. My mind is always going and I'm constantly designing in my head. I gets exhausting at times but it's who I am.
-I love the smell of coconut. I don't know if it's a throw back to my days spent sunbathing on the beach in Ca. or if it's wishful thinking that I was there now, but I love the smell and I am always looking for those lotions and candles.
-I love music - all kinds. My ipod has everything from Handel's Messiah and Rascal Flatts to ACDC and Blink 182. My new favorite song is "Stolen" by Dashboard Confessionals. Imust have listened to it 20 times on the way to Lake Powell. I haven't been to many concerts in my life but When Bon Jovi comes anywhere near Utah on his tour next year I'll be first in line for sure.
-I love my family. I have 4 kids - 2 boys and 2 girls and I just love it. They keep me on my toes and bring me to my knees but most of all the make my heart truely happy. There are days I'm trying to forget but then there are those days I hope to remember forever. I always say that my girls drain me emotionally and my boys drain me physically so there's not much left but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
-I can't mention my kids without mentioning my husband. Darren and I have been married for 13 years and through all the ups and downs we've managed to still make each other laugh. He love to play hard and never does anything without giving it his all. He has taught me so much and is the best Dad ever! Thanks honey.
-I love the water. Wether it's the ocean, a lake or the rain I love water. I even love the sound of it falling from the sky, running down a stream or crashing on the sand. There is something so calming about water for me. I love a good day on the beach, white water rafting on the Snake River, jet skiing in Lake Powell or hunkered down inside while the rain is pouring down outside. Love it.

Em,
I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. I'm picturing you listening to your ipod over and over again like you did with the blink 182 song last year. You're hilarious. I didn't know that you love to read. I feel like I don't even know you. But I do love your creative side. I'm so envious. You do such beautiful work. Any way you remind me how funny you are when I read what you write. I can't wait for our next sisters weekend.

I was so excited that you got a blog... I didn't even get to read your post, I wanted to write you first! I love the name of your blog and I am excited to read everything you have to say. Tracy

I read the post... very cute and creative. I agree with Wendy, I have so much more to learn about my sister. I did know that your new favorite song was Stolen by Dashboard, and that you love Suspensful books. Our games were on hold at Lake Powell until Emily finished a chapter in her book. Fun times!

I was just telling Wendy that you should have 2 blogs. One for just you (like this one that I am writing on) and the other for your bracelets. I am coming up tomorrow morning (around 10am), I have an appointment with Jill. I can show you how to add another blog to this one, okay?
