So, what do you do when you are homeless, searching for a house, raising 4 kids, keeping up with the husband and already teaching scrapbook classes monthly? You take on another project, of course. My good friend Shyloh started a scrapbooking website and has assembled some of the best scrapbook designers (at least I think so) to design, design, design. I think I've lost count of how many layouts I've designed so far (she doesn't have them all posted yet, including most of my favorites) but I seem to be working on layouts nonstop lately. The website is up and running now and the response has been amazing. I've been scrapbooking for nearly 11 years now and started teaching almost 3 years ago and this is the first time I've seen anything like this on this level. I'm excited to be entering on the ground level and with Shyloh's business mind behind this thing I think it's going to be big. I wasn't sure if I wanted my name on the website at first simply because I was worried about a conflict of interest (with the other store I teach at) but then I realized that I never signed any "exclusive" only contracts so I was excited to see my name amongst so many other fabulous designers. So far it's be a lot of fun - I think it helps working with some of my closest friends though... and it's great to get paid for something you love to do!

(The signature page is all messed up so don't judge me on this one!:)

That's awesome that you are enjoying this new project you've taken on. I still think you are crazy though with everything else you have going on in life... I don't know how you are doing it. I must look pathetic to you, just subbing part-time and nothing else. I guess an occasional trip to the gym.

Emily-
I knew you'd make it big with all your creative talents! I'm excited for you, and have checked out the site and can't wait to start purchasing some kits!

What a fun group of people to be working with too!
